You are invited to tour and celebrate small scale Section 8 Housing in the Lower Ocean Neighborhood!

These two beautiful Accessory Dwelling Units were built by Micah Posner in his backyard over the last 5 years and provide housing to people who were previously in shelters. 

Micah will be on hand to talk to people about the process of building the units and his newest project- People's Housing, which aspires to build more small affordable houses on properties throughout the County. His renters, Vic Mckay and Madison Lawlor, will show people their units and answer questions about their experience. Folks can also take a peak at his infamous unpermitted unit, now a tool shed.

Information and inspiration about renting to Section 8 voucher holders and new state laws that make it easier to build ADU's will also be featured.
